LED Downlights
LED downlights are an attractive, power efficient recessed light fitting designed for ceilings, walls and overhead shelving and cabinets. LED Downlights are especially suited for places where bulb replacement is an issue as the lifespan of LED downlights is 80,000 hours.
LED downlights are a good option in rooms where heat is an issue as LED downlights run cool and can come with the advantage of a heat sink so no heat escapes into the room as does in halogen lighting. Because LED downlights create so little heat, it minimised the risk of roof fires that halogen downlights can cause.
LED downlights will run with most iron-core transformers as well as specialised LED drivers designed to minimise the power use and maximise the lifespan of LED downlights.
